Sassy learns Down / Stay command

    Been working slowly with Sassy on commands and she’s getting pretty good at the ‘Down Stay’ command. But for now I’m lucky if its more than 60 seconds. She still gets easily distracted..

      Our new GSD has a lot of energy. Purchased a used treadmill on Craigslist and she loves to trot right along. Much easier to work with after a good workout.

      Spring of Peonies

        When I purchased ‘This Old Dump’ back in December of 1996, there was a lot of dead plants lining the street and driveway. The next spring that turned into these. Every year since they come back and bloom right around Memorial Day weekend without fail. I never do much to them and yet they prosper as if in memory of the original owner who planted them before me (I’m the second owner of the home built in 1945).

          Being Goofy Kid

              Like normal kids of the day (early 70’s) I liked to act goofy for the camera. My brother Dan was into photography and shot these pictures while testing settings on his camera. I was the willing test subject.
